Does it really matter what kind of glass I use?
The glass has a huge influence in the whole drinking experience. The most important function of a whisky glass is to allow the best possible access to the rich and unique set of fragrances of each whisky. Beyond that the glass is part of the whole tasting experience from handling, holding, lip feel, sniffing and drinking.
What is different in SAVU compared to traditional whisky glasses?
Savu is the first and only technical whisky glass. The unique and patented design functions so that you will not smell the alcohol but the actual aromas of whisky. For many this is ‘like a very first time’ kind of experience.

How can I pay?
Currently available Payment methods include (status 25.8.2021) : Credit card (Visa or Master Card), PayPal, iDeal, SEPA direct debit and SOFORT banking.
What is the return policy?
You can return unused items within 14 days and without giving a reason – this also applies to reduced merchandise. Please note that you have to cover the costs of returning the items back to us.
Once we have received the items in our logistics centre, a refund is initiated immediately. You will first receive a confirmation Email to notify you of the number of items returned and the amount to be refunded.
The money will then be refunded by the same payment method used to make the initial purchase. It may take up to 8 to 10 working days from receipt of our Email for the refund to show up in your account.

To start with, Jonathan and Rupert of Savu Glass in Australia were a delight to work with. Their web site did not offer shipping to the USA. Neither did the EU based web site, I emailed both and asked for help. Jonathan quickly answered and made it easy to get the glasses for my wife. Several months later, I am still waiting for a reply from the people at the EU based web site. MANY thanks to the Aussie team for great service!
Moreover, the glasses were packed very well which was a good thing as the glasses have the feel of something that is a bit fragile.
Yeah, bur what about the glasses? I purchased them as a birthday present for my wife. She looked somewhat askance at the unusual design. “What are those dimples in the side? It looks like a Glencairn glass that someone warped a bit!” Once she read the very engaging documentation that came with the glasses and tried them, she was hooked. The glasses did awaken aromas in our whiskies and whiskeys that our other glasses did not. Even with overproof spirits the aromas didn’t burn our noses but instead revealed fresh nuances.
